Active Committees
Bargaining Committee
- Prepares collective bargaining proposals and negotiates collective agreements. A new committee is established for each of the four collective agreements when the agreements have expired.
Grievance Committee
- Oversee the handling of all local grievances with the employer.
RDKB Joint Labour Management Committee
- Reviews matters that affect the relationship between the RDKB and Local 2254 Members employed with the RDKB.
RDKB Joint Occupational Health and Safety (JOHSC) Committee
- Collaborates with the employer on health and safety in the RDKB workplace.
Education Committee
- Gather information about available courses to Union Members. Is responsible for organizing, advertising, and awarding the annual bursary.
